There is a small risk. She may want to ask the maternity staff if she can be tested to see whether she is an MRSA carrier as they can take action prior to the birth with nasal cream and special baths. Be aware however that 35% of people are carriers of the easier to treat but often as dangerous staph aureus bacteria so bacteria is hard to avoid

Many people carry SA and MRSA on their skin and in their nose and are never ill with it. Being around an MRSA carrier means you may be a carrier. The symptoms for many are skin infections but MRSA can complicate internal illnesses. You will need to seek profesional advice as to whether MRSA is a complicating factor in another illness you may have.

My husband had mrsa in the hospital and I was with him all the time. He passed away because of lukimina. Could I have contacted the mrsa. I am now having a problem with my white blood cells. What are symptoms?
